Outlet Cashier at Villa Park Hotels and Suites

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Manage and safeguard the cashier's house fund
• Ensure all food and beverage sales in the outlet are checked and recorded in the POS system
• Record all employee meals and complimentary or entertainment services offered to guests in the POS system
• Enter opening and closing check numbers in the Night Auditor's logbook, ensuring checks are used serially and all checks are accounted for
• Open guest checks in the POS system, punch orders, split and transfer tables, and settle checks via cash, room charge, credit card, or city ledger
• Prepare cashier's summary and reconcile with POS readings at the end of each shift
• Print and reconcile transaction lists from credit card machines with physical checks and POS readings
• Prepare deposit envelopes, record deposit amounts on the cashier's deposit sheet, and deposit envelopes in the Front Office safe depository in the presence of a witness

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, HND, or OND qualification
• Minimum 2 years of work experience

Compensation

N80,000 per month
