OSP Supervisor- Maintenance at TTC Mobile

About the Role

An established company is recruiting for an OSP Supervisor - Maintenance position to oversee fibre optic infrastructure maintenance and management operations.

Functional Skills Required

• Proven track record in maintenance and management of metro and/or long-distance fibre optic infrastructure
• Sound knowledge of telecom industry best practices, norms, and technical requirements regarding fibre and civil work maintenance
• FTTx and/or P2P fibre deployment and maintenance experience, including:
  • Fibre termination using fusion splice machines
  • Testing and analyzing fibre links with OTDR and Light Source/Power Meters (LSPM)
  • Identifying fibre cores with VFLs
• Capability to understand fibre network architectures, designs, and splice plans
• Demonstrated ability to document concise and accurate "As-Is" status of network elements and splice configurations in a consistent manner
• Familiarity with Nigerian Health & Safety legislation requirements
• Experience in civil works supervision and quality control
• Experience processing Right of Way (ROW) licenses with Local Authorities and State Regulatory Agencies
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools, including working knowledge of Microsoft Project
• User experience with Visio, AutoCAD, or GIS tools (desired)

Experience Requirements
