Orange Corners Innovation Fund Manager

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join FATE Foundation in Lagos, Nigeria as the Orange Corners Innovation Fund Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Orange Corners programme financial oversight, including budget tracking, cost control, and value-for-money considerations, in line with approved budgets and donor agreements
• Oversee monitoring of OCIF programme performance against agreed indicators, outputs, and outcomes, ensuring timely identification of risks and delivery gaps
• Ensure that the financial and operational aspects of the Orange Corners programme implementation comply with donor requirements, OCIF and FATE Foundation policies, and applicable regulatory frameworks
• Lead the planning, organisation, and delivery of the Orange Corners Programme Close-Out Ceremony, ensuring professional execution that reflects programme achievements, OCIF priorities, and donor expectations
• Serve as the primary liaison with internal teams, external stakeholders, vendors, and government representatives on Track I and Track II payment-related matters, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Banking, or a related discipline from an accredited university
• Professional certification in finance and/or accounting from a recognised professional body (e.g., CFA, ACCA, ICAN)
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
• Strong passion and interest in Nigeria's entrepreneurship ecosystem

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience investing in early-stage companies
• MBA or similar professional qualification
