About the Role
An established company is recruiting for a Refueler I in its Operations department. You will be responsible for ensuring safe and correct handling, storage, and movement of petroleum products, with a focus on into-plane refueling operations conducted in accordance with company operating procedures and industry standards.
Main Functions
- Ensure safe and correct handling, storage, and movement of company products
- Conduct refueling operations (planes, tanks, etc.) in accordance with company operating procedures
- Maintain compliance with quality control and operating standards
Key Responsibilities
- Handle, store, and move petroleum products safely, including into-plane refueling, in accordance with company Quality Control and Operating Standards
- Service customers in a timely manner
- Maintain product quality to EM corporate, CAA, and industry standards and complete daily product quality checks
- Accurately record all stock movements and sales
- Operate correct emergency procedures in the event of incidents
- Serve as first point of contact with customers and maintain customer service levels
- Prevent injuries, environmental, and other incidents within assigned areas of control
- Implement company Safety and Emergency Procedures
- Schedule planned work to ensure refueling is completed in a timely manner
- Input all necessary data into the system to control sales transactions and product movement, including end-of-day reconciliation
- Maintain all necessary records on refueling and product quality activities
- Act as first-line contact with external departments and bodies, including other oil companies, supply terminals, head office, EM Aviation Sales Department, and airport authority
- Maintain and demonstrate competency in all procedures associated with fueling and depot equipment maintenance
- Undertake special responsibilities when trained
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5–12 years of relevant work experience
- Dangerous Goods Endorsement
- Heavy Trade License with hazardous goods and trailer endorsement
