This position offers a great opportunity for career growth.   Position Overview:   The Operations Pharmacist is responsible for overseeing pharmaceutical warehouse operations to ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient storage, handling, and distribution of medicines and healthcare products. The role ensures strict adherence to regulatory requirements, Good Distribution Practice (GDP), and company standards while maintaining inventory accuracy, product integrity, and operational efficiency. The role serves as the professional authority within the warehouse, providing pharmaceutical oversight, supporting quality assurance initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and uninterrupted supply to customers.   Key Responsibilities:  
  • Provide professional pharmaceutical oversight for all warehouse operations in compliance with PCN, NAFDAC, and GDP guidelines
  • Ensure proper storage conditions including temperature, humidity control, segregation, cold-chain, and controlled medicines
  • Supervise inventory management activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, dispatch, cycle counts, and reconciliation
  • Review and approve inbound and outbound pharmaceutical products, ensuring batch tracking, expiry management, and documentation accuracy
  • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, damages, expiries, recalls, and non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Coordinate regulatory inspections, internal audits, and quality reviews, ensuring audit readiness and closure of findings
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and optimal stock levels
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve SOPs in line with regulatory and operational best practices
  • Train and supervise warehouse staff on GDP, SOPs, safety standards, and quality requirements
  • Monitor warehouse KPIs including order accuracy, stock loss, turnaround time, and compliance metrics, and prepare operational reports
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security standards within the warehouse
