About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Hotel Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel and ensure smooth functioning across all departments. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering excellent guest service while maintaining high operational standards, profitability, and staff performance.
Key Responsibilities
Supervision of Departments
- Oversee housekeeping, front desk, food & beverage, maintenance, and security departments
- Ensure each department follows company standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Guest Experience Management
- Ensure guests receive high-quality service throughout their stay
- Handle escalated guest complaints and resolve issues promptly
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores and implement improvements to service processes
Staff Management
- Supervise staff performance and conduct regular evaluations
- Organize staff schedules, training programs, and daily briefings
- Ensure proper discipline, grooming standards, and professional conduct within the hotel
Operational Efficiency
- Ensure smooth daily operations across all hotel functions
- Implement cost-control measures to optimize operational efficiency
- Monitor inventory, supplies, and facility maintenance
Financial Oversight
- Collaborate with accounts and management to oversee budgets
- Track revenue, expenses, and departmental performance
- Ensure profitability of hotel operations
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Monitor compliance with industry regulations and hotel policies
Coordination With Management
- Report operational updates to the General Manager
- Implement management decisions across all departments
- Assist with planning events, promotions, and operational strategies
