Operations Manager - First Excelsia, Lagos

Our client, a fashion-focused organization, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate operational activities within a fashion design and garment production environment. The ideal candidate will optimize resources, manage processes, and ensure effective collaboration across departments to support business growth and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize resources across operational and production functions.

• Oversee finance-related operations, budgeting, and reporting.

• Coordinate and synergize systems, departments, and production workflows.

• Oversee day-to-day operational processes to ensure efficiency and timely delivery of fashion products.

• Work closely with designers, production teams, and tailors to align operations with creative output.

• Support strategic and operational decision-making.

• Manage teams, supervise staff performance, and drive productivity.

• Support HR, payroll, and general administrative operational functions.

Person Specifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Business Administration, Fashion Design, Textile Technology, or a related field is required. PGD is an added advantage.

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in an operations or management role within the fashion, garment, textile, or apparel industry.

• Strong background or practical understanding of fashion design and garment production processes.

• Strong finance and commercial awareness.

• High level of process discipline and system orientation.

• Proven leadership and people management skills.

• Strong strategic and operational thinking capability.
