Operations & Maintenance Manager at Workforce Group

Position Summary

We seek a dedicated Operations & Maintenance Manager to oversee the effective operation and maintenance of solar power plants. You will ensure high performance, efficiency, and reliability through regular inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs while adhering to safety and quality standards. This role requires deep technical expertise in solar systems, strong leadership skills, and a results-driven approach to achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

• Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of solar mini-grid projects, C&I projects, and similar initiatives
• Supervise engineers and technicians, providing guidance, task allocation, and performance support
• Develop and implement daily and weekly operational plans to ensure optimal site performance
• Schedule and execute periodic system checks, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance to uphold uptime and high operational standards

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Lead troubleshooting efforts for solar inverters, battery systems, and other equipment to minimize downtime
• Ensure all operations comply with safety protocols, quality standards, and operational procedures

Asset Health & Energy Management

• Monitor asset health and implement measures to prolong equipment life and reduce energy losses
• Conduct energy performance analysis and implement system optimizations for efficient utilization

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare and present detailed operational reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly updates on site performance, asset health, and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with management on profitability analysis and identify improvement opportunities

Team Leadership & Development

• Build a motivated team culture, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Conduct regular team training on new technologies and maintenance best practices
