Operations - Maintenance Engineer / Specialist I at ABNL Limited

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Operations & Maintenance Engineer to manage technical systems, oversee maintenance projects, and drive continuous improvement across assigned facility areas. This role combines technical expertise with project management and operational oversight to ensure safe, efficient facility operations.

Main Functions

• Provide technical management of site systems including maintenance, repairs, and inspections of assigned areas
• Deliver maintenance projects for new and modified facilities
• Analyze operations data to identify, develop, and implement continuous improvement initiatives that increase quality and lower operating costs
• Champion Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) compliance on site projects, including Loss Prevention System (LPS) implementation
• Execute best practices maintenance techniques to deliver high-quality facility operations while maintaining oversight of system integrity, safety, and controls
• Manage execution of maintenance activities through outside contractors

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Maintenance & Reliability (M&R) projects to high quality standards within safety, operational, and control expectations
• Develop project scope, cost estimates, schedules, and budgets for maintenance projects that improve facility systems while meeting all SSHE requirements
• Manage customer interfaces and project stakeholder communication
• Participate in project planning and permitting as required
• Develop, implement, and monitor operations procedures for maintenance and repair activities in accordance with established manuals and operating processes
• Analyze operational data for trends and improvement opportunities in both planned and reactive maintenance to optimize value
• Manage execution of M&R activities within designated budgets
• Perform technical management of facility systems including central plant, HVAC, electrical distribution, fire safety, potable water, and wastewater systems
• Monitor and analyze site utility performance and consumption patterns
• Execute additional field maintenance and engineering duties as required
