Operation Officer at Mikano

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Officer to oversee daily technical reports from electrical technicians in a power generation or engineering environment.

Major Responsibilities

Technical Report Management

• Collect, review, and validate daily technical reports submitted by electrical technicians
• Verify reported data such as power output, equipment status, maintenance activities, and faults
• Prepare summarized daily operational reports for management review

Performance and Compliance

• Ensure technicians adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations
• Monitor performance metrics to ensure operational efficiency and minimal downtime

Fault Reporting and Resolution

• Review fault logs and ensure prompt corrective actions are taken
• Coordinate follow-up activities to confirm resolution and proper documentation

Data Analysis and Record Keeping

• Analyze daily data trends to identify potential operational issues or inefficiencies
• Maintain accurate logs of operational data, maintenance activities, and system performance

Team Support and Training

• Provide technical guidance to technicians where necessary
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure skill gaps are identified and addressed

Communication and Reporting

• Act as the liaison between field technicians and management
• Escalate critical incidents to the Operations Manager or Technical Head promptly

Qualifications

• BEng / HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in a power generation company is a plus
