About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Offshore Baker who can double up as a cook to join our team in Port Harcourt. As an offshore baker/breakfast cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals and baked goods for our staff working on offshore rigs. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all food is prepared to high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes
• Cook breakfast meals for our clients
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
• Work effectively in a team environment to ensure that all meals are prepared and served on time
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to plan and prepare meals

Requirements

• FSLC qualification
• Valid offshore documents (e.g. BOSIET, OSP, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience as a baker and breakfast cook in an industrial kitchen
• Excellent baking and cooking skills, with attention to detail and presentation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility and adaptability
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
