About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Officer, Legal and Corporate Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts and agreements
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Provide legal support on corporate governance and compliance matters
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support business operations and transactions
• Assist in company secretarial duties including board meetings, minutes writing, and corporate governance duties
• Develop and implement legal policies and procedures
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage risk and ensure legal compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B) and admission to practice as a Barrister (B.L)
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of corporate and commercial law, contract law, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
