## Title: Odoo Business Analyst / Functional Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Odoo Business Analyst / Functional Consultant to design, configure, and deliver end-to-end ERP solutions that improve efficiency, visibility, and control for clients across manufacturing, distribution, retail, real estate, and services sectors.

In this role, you will lead discovery sessions, map business processes, configure Odoo modules, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), train users, and support smooth system go-lives. You'll partner closely with stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to ensure successful implementations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Discovery & Process Mapping: Conduct workshops with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, HR, and IT teams to capture requirements; document AS-IS/TO-BE processes using BPMN diagrams, flowcharts, and clear user stories.
  • Solution Design: Translate business requirements into Odoo module configurations (Accounting, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, MRP, Projects, HR/Payroll, CRM, Website/eCommerce, POS); define data models, workflows, and access controls.
  • Configuration & Prototyping: Build prototypes and sandboxes, iterate rapidly, and maintain configuration logs, test scripts, and functional specifications.
  • Data Migration: Define data templates, cleansing rules, and cutover plans; support ETL processes, trial loads, and reconciliation of opening balances, stock, partners, and price lists.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Drive System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles, manage defects, establish sign-off criteria, and ensure solutions meet performance, compliance, and audit requirements.
  • Training & Change Management: Create user guides and standard operating procedures (SOPs); deliver role-based training sessions and provide hypercare support during go-live to drive user adoption and minimize implementation risk.
  • Integration Coordination: Collaborate with developers on APIs and third-party tools (payment gateways, eCommerce platforms, business intelligence tools, logistics systems); write clear functional specifications for customizations.
  • Project Governance: Contribute to project planning, risk management, and status reporting; track deliverables and timelines using Agile, Scrum, or hybrid frameworks.
