Job Summary

Lagos Executive Cardiovascular Clinic is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Nursing Officer to deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a specialized cardiovascular healthcare setting. The successful candidate will support patient assessment, treatment, and recovery while ensuring adherence to professional standards, patient safety, and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions in accordance with hospital policies and best practices
• Monitor and document patients' vital signs and overall clinical condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and patient safety
• Assist physicians during clinical procedures, diagnostic tests, and cardiac interventions
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and post-discharge care
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing records and reports
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention, control measures, and patient safety protocols
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and participate in resuscitation and critical care support as required
• Collaborate effectively with doctors, pharmacists, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals
• Uphold ethical standards, confidentiality, and professional conduct at all times

Requirements & Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification from a recognized nursing institution
• Valid practicing license and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN)
• Minimum of 2–4 years' clinical nursing experience, preferably in cardiology, ICU, or medical-surgical units
• Sound knowledge of cardiovascular nursing care and clinical procedures
• Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call duties
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills
