Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, supervision, and mentorship to the nursing team
• Develop and enforce nursing protocols, policies, and standard operating procedures
• Coordinate nursing activities with physicians, administrative teams, and other healthcare professionals
• Monitor and evaluate nursing staff performance; oversee training and continuous development
• Manage staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, NMCN standards, and hospital policies
• Address patient complaints and clinical issues in a timely and professional manner
• Oversee documentation, patient records, and ensure data confidentiality
• Contribute to strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for nursing services

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) practicing license
• Minimum of 10 years of nursing experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or managerial role

Required Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
