Nurse (Nysc) - Christian Miracle Hospital, Enugu

Position Overview

Christian Miracle Hospital is seeking a compassionate Midwife to provide high-quality antenatal and delivery care while serving as a primary relationship manager for expectant mothers. The successful candidate will ensure excellent maternal and neonatal outcomes while building strong patient relationships and supporting the hospital's service mission.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Enugu North. The Midwife will work closely with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care throughout the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing compassionate, high-quality patient care during all stages of pregnancy and childbirth
• Administering medications and monitoring patient health
• Assisting in medical procedures and managing labor confidently
• Maintaining accurate and timely medical records
• Creating a safe, respectful, and supportive birth environment
• Supporting maternal and neonatal health outcomes

Key Duties

Clinical Care

• Deliver antenatal and delivery services with demonstrable experience in labor management
• Provide comprehensive care throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum periods

Patient Relationship Management

• Maintain a patient contact list and conduct weekly follow-up calls to registered patients
• Build and retain strong patient relationships to encourage hospital selection and referrals

Service Development

• Support the hospital's service expansion by generating new patient registrations and referrals
• Promote hospital services including laboratory and diagnostic imaging facilities to patients

Required Qualifications

• Current RM/RN license in Enugu State
• Demonstrated experience in midwifery and labor management
