Position Overview

Tabitha Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Midwife for a full-time, on-site position at our facility in Abuja, Nigeria. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive maternal healthcare to expectant mothers throughout the pregnancy journey.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to expectant mothers, including antenatal, labor, delivery, and postnatal support
• Manage family planning services and provide family planning education
• Conduct routine medical examinations and health assessments
• Provide patient education on maternal and child health
• Ensure high-quality nursing care and prompt response to patient needs
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Midwife certification and valid practicing license
• Proficiency in midwifery, maternity care, and nursing practice
• Knowledge and expertise in maternal and child health
• Experience with family planning methods and education
• Strong ability to provide compassionate patient care and build trust with patients
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in obstetrics or a similar healthcare setting
