## Title: Network Installer
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our team as a Network Installer.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate with dispatch for daily appointments
- Carry material and stage equipment for installation at customer premises
- Guide, coordinate, and oversee fellow installers
- Assist with accessories and device collection from assigned stock pick-up points as needed
- Assist with the completion of tasks within allotted timeframes
- Review paperwork with customers where needed
- Wear all identification, safety, and courtesy equipment at all times
- Educate customers about benefits and upsell add-on sales products
- Educate customers on the features and functionality of installed products
- Test electrical equipment and systems to ensure proper functioning of routers and services
- Crawl into small spaces, work in all climates, and maintain physical fitness
- Maintain installation tools and equipment in safe working order
- Assist in the removal and installation of materials on customer premises
- Evaluate and monitor the performance and quality standards of sub-contractors within assigned infrastructure boundaries
- Provide reports of completed work with corresponding timesheets for daily submission
Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma or trade school certification
- Degree in IT or Engineering (preferred)
- 1–2 years of previous trade experience (a plus)
- Strong troubleshooting abilities
- Splicing and racking abilities
- Ability to manage multiple requests and complexities
- Experience onboarding new clients
- Ability to work in non-traditional spaces such as roofs or basements
- Hands-on experience installing and adjusting equipment (preferred)
- Exposure to working in strenuous fields or environments
