About the Role
We are a premier rice processing and milling company based in Nigeria's North Central region, seeking a National Sales Manager to lead our ambitious expansion across the country. You will manage a vital component of Nigeria's food security while directing our sales operations nationwide.
Location: North Central HQ (with extensive nationwide travel required)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct a diverse team of Regional Sales Managers, fostering a culture of high performance and sustainable growth
- Deepen our market stronghold in the South-East and South-South regions while aggressively capturing new market shares nationwide
- Harmonize North Central production excellence with the unique market dynamics of Southern coastal and inland hubs
- Develop data-driven sales forecasts, pricing strategies, and route-to-market plans
- Strengthen supply chains and build brand recognition across all regions of Nigeria
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of FMCG experience, preferably in food or commodities sectors
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Deep understanding of the Nigerian market, including open markets (Onitsha, Aba) and corporate distribution channels (Port Harcourt, Lagos)
- Proven ability to manage geographically dispersed teams effectively
- Strong knowledge of distribution and supply chain operations in the rice industry
- Track record of driving sales growth and market expansion
