About the Role

PRIMERO Transport Services Limited is seeking a qualified Monitoring Officer to oversee daily operations and ensure compliance across our BRT Scheme corridors. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining operational standards, monitoring staff conduct, and preventing fraudulent activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily reports of activities on BRT Scheme corridors
• Monitor drivers for indecent dressing, behavioral issues, reckless driving, alcohol consumption, unauthorized docking, and free rides
• Monitor commuter conduct, including unauthorized standing or sitting in restricted areas
• Maintain daily staff presence reports at corridors, terminals, and during shift changes with proper identification verification
• Perform periodic breathalyzer checks on staff
• Monitor and prevent fraudulent activities and collusion
• Monitor and prevent free ridership and overcrowding
• Report accidents and incidents to line management
• Maintain daily reports on scheduled buses, deployed buses, and maintenance schedules
• Monitor and prevent public impersonation at shelters
• Assist corridor staff with duties as needed
• Enforce disciplinary actions against defaulters
• Provide discreet updates on corridor activities to the Ticketing & Monitoring Superintendent

Requirements

• Male candidate (gender balance requirement)
• Bachelor's Degree or HND qualification
• 2–4 years' experience in a related field
• Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and respond swiftly to changing situations
• Analytical mind with sound judgment
• High level of observation and discretion
