About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mixologist to join our team at Woodgate Structure Limited in Lagos, Nigeria. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for creating, preparing, and serving cocktails and other beverages with a strong emphasis on crafting unique drinks and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and create unique, high-quality cocktails, including signature drinks and classic cocktails
• Prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverages for bar, restaurant, and banquet guests
• Engage with customers, take drink orders, and provide personalized recommendations based on their preferences
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
• Collect payments and ensure patrons are of legal drinking age
• Collaborate with servers and other staff to deliver seamless service
• Train and oversee other bartenders or bar staff on drink preparation and service standards

Required Skills and Knowledge

• In-depth understanding of spirits, liqueurs, ingredients, and flavor combinations
• Advanced mixing techniques and mixology knowledge
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for excellent customer service
• Creativity and flair for designing innovative cocktail recipes and presentations
• Attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain high standards for taste and presentation
• Dexterity for drink preparation and ability to lift weights
• Knowledge of relevant regulations regarding alcohol service
• Availability for various shifts
