Mid level Accountant at Pajuno Development Company Limited

About the Role

Pajuno Development Company Limited is expanding its finance team and seeking a Mid-Level Accountant to join our dynamic organization. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lekki, where you will play a key role in managing our financial operations and supporting the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations

• Manage and record day-to-day financial transactions
• Support preparation of monthly management reports and cash flow tracking
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and support reconciliations
• Assist in budget preparation and variance reporting

Tax & Compliance

• Prepare VAT and WHT schedules and ensure timely submissions
• Support tax planning and maintain accurate tax records
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations

Documentation & Controls

• Maintain proper financial documentation and records
• Support internal controls implementation and process improvement
• Prepare financial data for internal and external audits

Collaboration

• Work closely with internal teams (finance, operations, admin) to ensure seamless accounting support
• Report to the Senior Accountant and Head of Finance

Required Qualifications

• BSc in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a structured organization
• Strong understanding of receivables management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Odoo ERP
• Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis
• Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes
