About the Role

An established healthcare company is seeking a Medical Officer / General Practitioner to join their team in Lagos, Nigeria. This is a full-time position requiring clinical expertise and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute clinical expertise to comprehensive patient care
• Ensure quality standards in patient care are maintained consistently
• Verify complex diagnoses and facilitate appropriate treatment plans
• Keep informed on advancements in the medical field and contribute to medical research programs
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
• Maintain consistent and accurate medical records

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medicine and Surgery
• 2–4 years of clinical experience
• Completion of NYSC (National Youth Service Corps)
• Current practicing medical license

Required Skills and Experience

• Clinical risk management experience
• Knowledge of medical research methodology and ethics
• Knowledge of medical recordkeeping practices
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
• Knowledge of health administration
• Advanced ability to ensure highest standards in patient care and healthcare compliance
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills

Work Requirements

• Willingness to work both morning and night shifts
• Ability to cover 24–48 hour shifts as needed
• Must reside in the Stadium Road, Ososami Area, and Apata regions of Ibadan

Compensation

₦300,000 – ₦350,000 per month
