Key Responsibilities

• Collect, receive, label, and process patient specimens (blood, urine, stool, swabs, etc.)
• Carry out routine laboratory tests under the supervision of a Medical Laboratory Scientist
• Prepare reagents, stains, and laboratory materials
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, microscopes, and analyzers
• Ensure proper sample storage and disposal using safety and infection control guidelines
• Record test results accurately and update laboratory logs or patient files

Requirements

• OND, HND, or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology / Laboratory Technician certification
• Valid practicing license
• Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety practices
• Good communication, attention to detail, and record-keeping skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team
• Experience in a diagnostic or hospital laboratory is an advantage

Compensation

N120,000 - N150,000 per month
