Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality laboratory services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on patient samples
• Analyze and interpret test results accurately and promptly
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality control standards
• Document and report findings to physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Participate in internal and external quality assurance programs
• Maintain accurate records and inventory of laboratory supplies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS)
• Valid practicing license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN)
• Minimum of 2 years post-NYSC experience in a clinical laboratory
• Proficiency in laboratory information systems and basic computer applications
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
