Key Responsibilities

Laboratory Operations

• Devise and adapt technical procedures and modify equipment as needed
• Stay informed of new analytical and manufacturing methods
• Receive urine, blood, and other samples for experimentation and analysis
• Test and study blood, urine, and other body fluids
• Manage and operate laboratory equipment with precision
• Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies

Safety and Quality Standards

• Ensure strict compliance with all safety guidelines at all times
• Maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment
• Organize and store all chemical substances, fluids, and compressed gases according to safety instructions
• Maintain laboratory quality assurance and safety standards

Documentation and Record Keeping

• Record all data and results in specified paper and electronic forms with accuracy and responsibility

Administrative Duties

• Provide customer service support for incoming and outgoing calls from customers, clients, potential clients, and doctors/centers regarding lab results
• Participate in and support company marketing and branding campaigns
• Coordinate courier services and maintain professional and courteous behavior to ensure customer satisfaction
• Provide registration, clerical, and billing support as required
• Ensure proper housekeeping standards
• Perform all duties with understanding and respect for patient rights and strict confidentiality
• Perform other related duties as required

Requirements and Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Registration with the Medical Laboratory Scientist Council of Nigeria (required)
• Must reside in Lagos, Nigeria
