Medical Doctor at Lindii Peace Foundation (LPF)

Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated medical professional to join the health team at Lindii Peace Foundation. As a Medical Doctor, you will be an integral member delivering high-quality medical services in field locations. You will provide clinical care, support health program implementation, and ensure that patient care meets organizational and national standards.

This role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to identify health needs, respond to medical challenges, and ensure effective service delivery in supported communities. The position is ideal for a medical professional passionate about making a tangible impact in humanitarian settings and adaptable to dynamic field environments.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care & Case Management

• Provide high-quality medical care and treatment to patients in accordance with national and international standards and LPF protocols
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic illnesses in project locations
• Ensure rational prescription and proper use of medicines and medical supplies
• Oversee infection prevention and control measures at the health facility and during outreach activities
• Refer patients needing specialized care in accordance with established referral pathways

Program Support and Coordination

• Participate in health assessments, outreach, and mobile clinic activities as required
• Collaborate with LPF's multi-sectoral teams (Nutrition, WASH, Protection, etc.) to ensure integrated service delivery
• Support health education and community sensitization on key health issues

Reporting and Quality Assurance

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and reports
• Contribute to periodic project reports, data collection, and analysis for program improvement
• Participate in internal and external meetings, trainings, and capacity-building sessions as required

Accountability and Safeguarding

• Uphold LPF's values and organizational standards
