Jireh Doo Foundation invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Medical Doctor in Lagos, Nigeria.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum qualification: MBBS
• Minimum of 3 years of professional clinical experience after registration
• Full Medical Council registration
• Managerial and supervisory experience
• Flexible with ability to manage stress
• Ability to provide training and supervision to others
• Availability for a minimum period of 9-12 months

Desirable Qualifications

• Diploma in community medicine
• Knowledge of Hausa language

Preferred Experience

Experience in the following fields is a valuable asset:

• Infectious diseases
• Public health
• Minor surgery
• Obstetrics
• HIV/AIDS
• Emergency medicine

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products, email, and internet applications
• Ability to type quickly and efficiently
• Ability to maintain confidentiality for sensitive issues and use sound judgment in executing duties and responsibilities
• Sensitivity to cultural differences and understanding of political and ethical issues surrounding HIV infections
• Fluency in English and Hausa (written and spoken)
• Knowledge of health programs
