Medical Doctor at First Cardiology Consultants

About the Role

First Cardiology Consultants is recruiting a Medical Doctor to join our established healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care, demonstrate outstanding clinical knowledge, and deliver excellent patient counseling services. You may refer patients to specialists or consultants when further diagnosis or treatment is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to patients' medical problems by reviewing their medical history
• Participate in all treatment and preventative health care services as delegated and agreed upon with the supervising Medical Director
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records (EMR)
• Interview patients, take medical histories, and perform physical examinations
• Analyze, diagnose, and explain medical problems during consultations
• Interpret results under the supervision of the Medical Director and provide referrals where necessary
• Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
• Explain procedures and prescribed treatments to patients
• Liaise with other medical professionals within the organization
• Formulate and diagnose treatment plans in consultation with or referral to supervising Doctors as appropriate
• Provide clinical instruction to nursing staff and other clinical teams as required

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Medicine from an accredited university
• MBBS qualification with 1–3 years of relevant experience
• Completion of NYSC (compulsory)
• Valid registration and license to practice medicine from the MDCN (Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria)
• Knowledge of general medicine
