About the Role

ADKAN Services is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer for our Lagos office. This is an opportunity to work on diverse mechanical engineering projects in a well-established organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee mechanical systems for construction and manufacturing projects
• Manage HVAC, piping, plumbing, and building services installations
• Supervise technical staff on-site
• Ensure compliance with local engineering codes and safety standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in construction or manufacturing
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC, piping, plumbing, and building services
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other engineering design software
• Knowledge of local engineering codes, safety standards, and quality regulations
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work on-site and manage technical staff as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• COREN registration or progress toward certification
