About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Machine Technician to join our food manufacturing team in Sagamu. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating, maintaining, and repairing VFFS machines, food seasoning machines, and other food packaging equipment within the FMCG or food processing sector.

You will play a critical role in ensuring smooth production flow, minimal downtime, and optimal machine performance. This position offers a great opportunity for career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and optimize VFFS and other food packaging machines
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce breakdowns and downtime
• Troubleshoot equipment faults quickly and effectively
• Support production teams in achieving output, efficiency, and quality targets
• Inspect machines regularly to identify potential issues
• Keep accurate maintenance documentation, including service reports and spare parts usage logs

Requirements

• Trade Test 1, 2, 3, OND, or BSc/HND in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience working with VFFS machines, food seasoning machines, and food packaging equipment
• Strong background in FMCG or food processing manufacturing environments
• Excellent troubleshooting, repair, and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a team
• Must reside in Sagamu or the immediate environs
