About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to take on a supervisory role in mechanical maintenance. You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all mechanical maintenance activities during your shift to ensure smooth equipment operation and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical technicians and maintenance crew during the shift
• Monitor the performance of machines, conveyors, pumps, compressors, and related equipment
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Ensure breakdowns are attended to promptly and effectively
• Maintain shift reports on equipment performance, downtime, and maintenance work
• Coordinate with the production and electrical departments for maintenance schedules
• Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• HND or B.Eng/B.Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
• 5 – 10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or operations within a mining, steel, or heavy industrial plant
• Strong knowledge of rotary and static equipment, troubleshooting, and supervision of maintenance activities during shifts
