About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer (Level 3) to join our project team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing mechanical installations, preparing workshop and as-built drawings, and developing operational and maintenance manuals. This role requires strong technical expertise, site supervision skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with contractors and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee mechanical installations and systems
• Interface effectively with building contractors and sub-contractors
• Report project variations and site instructions to the Project Manager
• Conduct short-term procurement planning and raise material requests
• Supervise site workers and assign tasks efficiently
• Interpret and set out systems from technical drawings
• Prepare material take-offs, shop drawings, and technical reports
• Attend technical and coordination meetings and document minutes
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
• Promote energy efficiency, waste reduction, and environmental awareness

Knowledge & Technical Competencies

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD

• Good knowledge of plumbing and fire systems standards and installation practices
• Familiarity with project management principles and construction supervision

• Ensure compliance with all HSE rules and company procedures

• Participate in incident investigations and emergency preparedness activities

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
