Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer to support the design, installation, and construction of mechanical and electrical systems across our engineering and construction projects.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing technical designs, supervising site activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, safe, and efficient engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Mechanical Engineering
- Develop detailed mechanical designs, calculations, and specifications for HVAC, plumbing, piping, fire protection, and mechanical systems
- Prepare mechanical engineering drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools
- Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and system capacity planning
- Inspect and supervise installation of mechanical systems on project sites
- Conduct mechanical system testing, commissioning, and performance checks
- Ensure mechanical works comply with ASME, ISO, NFPA, and local building codes
Construction & Project Management
- Provide technical support during construction, fabrication, and installation phases
- Monitor construction progress and ensure alignment with design drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with civil, structural, and architectural teams on M&E integration
- Support procurement by preparing BOQs, equipment specifications, and vendor evaluations
- Manage subcontractors and ensure timely delivery of M&E scope
- Ensure all works follow HSE standards and quality control procedures
- Prepare site reports, documentation, and engineering deliverables
Qualifications
- B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in M&E design and/or construction projects
- Experience in oil & gas, building services, or related industrial sectors
