Location: Ota, Ogun State Industry: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Position Overview: We are seeking a competent and proactive Mechanical Engineer to join our team in a reputable pharmaceutical manufacturing company located in Ota, Ogun State. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and reliability of production and utility equipment in compliance with GMP standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on pharmaceutical production machines and utility systems.

• Troubleshoot mechanical faults to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted production.

• Maintain and service HVAC systems, compressors, boilers, water systems, and other plant utilities.

• Support installation, calibration, and qualification of new equipment.

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with GMP and safety regulations.

• Maintain proper documentation of maintenance schedules, logs, and reports.

• Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure smooth plant operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.

• 2–3 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing company.

• Strong knowledge of production machines and utility systems in a regulated environment.

• Familiarity with GMP standards and documentation processes.

• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
