About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and innovative mechanical engineer with expertise in sheet metal and welded applications to join our engineering team. This position involves designing, developing, and optimizing sheet metal parts, welded structures, and assemblies that meet functional, manufacturing, and cost requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop sheet metal components and welded assemblies
• Optimize parts and structures to meet functional, manufacturing, and cost specifications
• Apply design for manufacturing (DFM) principles throughout the design process
• Evaluate material properties and select appropriate materials for applications
• Collaborate with the engineering team on complex projects

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Strong expertise in sheet metal and weldmet applications
• Advanced proficiency with CAD tools
• Comprehensive knowledge of fabrication processes
• Deep understanding of material properties
• Solid grasp of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles
