Job Summary
A dynamic team is expanding and seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing organization. The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for designing, modeling, and developing automotive components and systems that meet performance, safety, cost, and quality requirements. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to support new product development, design modifications, prototype testing, and transition to mass production. The engineer ensures that designs adhere to automotive standards, manufacturability constraints, and customer specifications.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Advanced certification in CAD tools (CATIA, SolidWorks, CREO) is an advantage
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in automotive or manufacturing industries
- Experience in designing sheet metal, plastic parts, castings, or machined components
- Hands-on exposure to DFMEA, GD&T, DFM/DFA, and engineering validation processes
Required Skills
- Proficient in 3D modeling, engineering drawing standards, and GD&T
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Good understanding of automotive materials and manufacturing processes (e.g., stamping, casting, injection molding, welding)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
