Mechanical and Electrical Engineers

About the Role

Dele Pharmaceuticals is seeking suitably qualified Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems across our syringe and needle production facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical & Electrical Engineering

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical systems of syringe and needle production lines including injection molding machines, assembly lines, sterilization equipment, compressors, HVAC, and utilities
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production
• Diagnose faults in motors, PLCs, sensors, control panels, and mechanical components
• Support equipment calibration and validation activities in compliance with GMP and ISO standards

Production Support

• Work closely with Production and Quality teams to ensure equipment operates within validated parameters
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to restore operations and meet production targets
• Assist in equipment changeovers, upgrades, and commissioning of new machinery

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all engineering activities comply with GMP, ISO, safety regulations, and company standard operating procedures
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, equipment history files, and technical documentation
• Participate in internal and external audits as required

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve machine efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize energy consumption
• Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for equipment-related issues
• Recommend spare parts management and equipment standardization strategies

Utilities & Infrastructure

• Monitor and maintain factory utilities including power supply, compressed air, water systems, and HVAC
• Ensure uninterrupted utilities supply critical to cleanroom and production operations
