Mathematics Teacher (Primary) at TAAS College

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons tailored to students' levels and learning styles
• Teach key areas including Number Operations, Algebra, Geometry, Measurement, Data Handling, and Problem Solving
• Use Montessori materials and visual aids to promote hands-on learning and conceptual understanding
• Integrate Islamic values such as honesty in calculation, patience in problem-solving, and appreciation of Allah's precision in creation
• Evaluate student progress through assignments, quizzes, and continuous assessments
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations (e.g., Common Entrance, WAEC, IGCSE)
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior
• Provide regular feedback to parents and collaborate with colleagues to improve instructional quality
• Participate in departmental meetings, training, and school programs
• Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive classroom environment

Qualifications & Skills

• B.Ed., B.Sc. in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or related discipline
• Professional teaching qualification (PGDE, TRCN, or equivalent)
• At least 2 years of classroom teaching experience
• Strong understanding of child-centered and inquiry-based approaches
• Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• High moral integrity and alignment with Islamic values
