Job Summary
We are seeking a Marketing Research Manager to conduct comprehensive market research and competitor analysis that translates into actionable business recommendations. You will drive growth in line with management's goals and objectives, supporting our expanding team in the EdTech sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide prospect datasets in a timely manner to support the sales team in meeting approved product sales projections
- Conduct comprehensive and continuous market trend analysis and submit monthly reports to senior management
- Perform competitor analysis and submit weekly reports to senior management
- Identify and build strategic partnerships with tertiary institutions, relevant officials, and student groups to drive collaborations
Required Skills and Competencies
- Personal Qualities: Passionate and self-motivated with a strong business mindset and attention to detail
- Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom, and Zoho platform; excellent social media marketing skills
- Digital Presence: Active accounts on LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Emotional Intelligence: Strong social and relationship management skills
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Minimum of first-class degree (2:2 minimum) in any field; degree in Economics, Statistics, or Business Administration preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in marketing research and data analysis
- Industry Background: Proven experience in EdTech, FinTech, Telecoms, Education, Insurance, or related service sectors
- Performance Track Record: Clear evidence of achievements as a Strategic Marketing Research Manager within the last 2 years, preferably in Education and Training Services
