Marketing Officer at West Africa Vocational Education (WAVE)

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Marketing Officer to promote our organization's services, identify and engage potential clients, strengthen brand presence, drive lead generation, and accelerate sales growth. This role requires excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and relationship-building abilities to create impactful campaigns, influencer collaborations, and generate new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, sales, and expand the client base
• Identify and pursue collaboration opportunities with influencers, stylists, event planners, and lifestyle brands
• Monitor the wedding, bridal, fashion, luxury, and retail landscape to identify growth opportunities
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, customer preferences, and competitor activities
• Manage influencer marketing campaigns from ideation to execution and reporting
• Represent the brand at events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities
• Generate leads through cold calls, warm calls, networking, referrals, and email campaigns
• Create engaging content for social media, newsletters, and other promotional materials
• Monitor and evaluate marketing campaign performance, adjusting strategies as necessary
• Oversee social media activities in collaboration with the digital team to ensure cohesive brand storytelling
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, design) to ensure consistent branding and client engagement
• Prepare and present regular marketing reports, including sales pipelines and campaign effectiveness
• Ensure all marketing activities comply with brand policies and relevant regulations
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer and vendor issues in partnership with admin and customer service teams
