Role Overview
As Marketing Manager at UrbanWish Ltd, you will own the company's marketing strategy and execution across customer acquisition, brand awareness, provider acquisition support, and revenue growth.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role suited for someone who thrives in early-stage environments, can balance strategy with execution, and understands how to grow a two-sided marketplace. You will work closely with the CEO, product, sales/provider acquisition team, and external agencies to ensure UrbanWish launches strong and scales efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Go-to-Market & Growth
- Plan and execute UrbanWish's launch marketing strategy for Lagos and Abuja
- Drive user acquisition through paid ads, SEO, influencer partnerships, and content marketing
- Support provider acquisition campaigns in collaboration with sales reps and partners
- Continuously test, measure, and optimize acquisition funnels to improve CAC and conversion rates
Performance & Digital Marketing
- Manage paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Instagram/Facebook), TikTok, and other relevant channels
- Own SEO and content strategy to grow organic traffic
- Track performance metrics including traffic, conversion rates, CAC, LTV, bookings, and revenue
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights
Brand & Content
- Build and maintain a strong, consistent UrbanWish brand voice across all touchpoints
- Oversee creation of marketing assets: landing pages, email campaigns, flyers, videos, and social content
- Coordinate influencer partnerships and creator campaigns tailored to Nigerian audiences
- Ensure messaging clearly communicates UrbanWish's value to both users and service providers
CRM, Email & Retention
- Manage newsletter campaigns for users, providers, and investors
- Set up lifecycle marketing including onboarding, reminders, re-engagement, and referral campaigns
- Collaborate with the product team to improve retention and repeat usage
