About the Role
We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Marketing Manager at Paras Energy in Lagos, Nigeria. This role combines business development, marketing strategy, and sales management to drive industrial CNG supply growth across key market segments.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and develop new industrial customers for CNG supply across manufacturing clusters, industrial zones, and Free Trade Zones
- Conduct market mapping to identify high-potential gas consumers currently using diesel, LPG, or fuel oil
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, negotiate pricing, and finalize long-term CNG supply agreements
- Coordinate with technical and operations teams for feasibility studies, pipeline routing, and station connectivity
Marketing & Client Relations
- Develop marketing strategies to promote CNG as a cleaner and cost-effective fuel alternative for industries
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with plant heads, procurement, and sustainability teams
- Organize customer visits, presentations, and technical demonstrations to showcase CNG benefits
- Gather market intelligence on competitor pricing, customer switching trends, and policy updates
Sales Planning & Performance
- Achieve assigned monthly and annual volume targets for industrial CNG sales
- Track sales performance, collection status, and customer satisfaction metrics
- Coordinate with finance for invoicing, credit control, and timely payment collection
- Prepare weekly MIS and performance dashboards for management review
Coordination & Execution
- Work closely with project and logistics teams for customer connectivity, cascade supply, and delivery schedules
- Support legal and commercial departments in drafting and executing gas supply agreements
Requirements
- HND or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 5 years' work experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) to maintain reports
- Resident in Lagos or willing to relocate at own expense
- Ability to work on weekends
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
