About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and seeking an experienced healthcare leader to join as Managing Director. You will drive strategic direction, operational excellence, and sustainable growth across fertility and IVF services.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and articulate the business' strategic direction and ambition, ensuring alignment with overall strategic objectives as defined by the Board
• Cascade strategic objectives to respective units and locations, and champion implementation of plans for achieving set goals
• Review periodic management reports on business unit activities and propose actionable recommendations to ensure targets are met
• Monitor the Fertility and IVF sector, including local and global trends, to maintain and sharpen competitive positioning and advantage
• Develop and maintain strategic alliances and relationships with key organisations and partners, and champion the formulation of strategic business alliances
• Ensure overall business growth aligns with Board objectives and business plans, establishing performance goals to track attainment of set targets
• Examine all financial investments and major capital expenditure for the businesses and make recommendations to the Board
• Serve as the approving authority for financial operations, transactions, and activities for the Fertility business

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medicine or equivalent professional qualification
• Postgraduate degree in Business and/or Management
• Minimum of 15 years' post-NYSC experience with at least 7 years in a senior management position in relevant and related fields
• Proven track record of strategic financial leadership in a similar role with strong operational focus
• Demonstrated success delivering high levels of sustainable profit and revenue growth
• Substantial previous healthcare business management experience managing human and financial resources
