Maintenance Team Lead (Boiler) at Seven Up Bottling Company

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Maintenance Team Lead (Boiler) at our Lagos facility. In this role, you will oversee boiler operations and lead a team of skilled operators to ensure optimal plant performance and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operation of boilers (Gas Fired and Waste Heat Recovery) to ensure uninterrupted steam generation according to plant requirements
• Monitor boiler parameters and analyse data recorded by operators to diagnose and troubleshoot boiler issues
• Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations
• Maintain accurate logs of fuel consumption (Diesel), water treatment, and emissions
• Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical spares
• Supervise boiler water treatment, chemical dosing, and blowdown practices
• Supervise boiler operators across shifts and provide on-the-job training and competency development
• Coordinate with the Utility/Power House team on boiler operation and steam leakage prevention
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of the Water Treatment Plant

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Boiler Operation Engineer Certificate approved by the Director of Factories, Nigeria
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of proven supervisory or shift-in-charge experience in boiler operation and power plant management
