Maintenance Officer - HVAC at MeCure Healthcare Limited (MHL)

About the Role

MeCure Healthcare Limited (MHL) is seeking a skilled HVAC Maintenance Officer to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. You will be responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and compliance of our healthcare facilities through proactive maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks and coordinate repairs to maintain safety and functionality of facilities
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance issues and safety hazards
• Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repair projects, including obtaining quotes, scheduling contractors, and ensuring work is completed on time and within budget
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment inventory, and inspection reports
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff, prioritizing urgent issues and providing timely resolutions
• Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, and procure necessary items as needed
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in maintenance within the pharmaceutical industry with demonstrated proficiency in performing a variety of maintenance tasks
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment, as well as computer software for record-keeping and communication
