Maintenance Officer at Orile Restaurant and Bar

Role Overview

We are seeking a Maintenance Officer with solid work experience to oversee and ensure the smooth running of all maintenance operations within the restaurant and bar. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks across facilities, equipment, and utilities. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of restaurant facilities (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, etc.)
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and avoid costly repairs
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and resolve issues efficiently
• Supervise and coordinate external contractors when necessary
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report to management
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Support seamless operations by working closely with kitchen staff, service teams, and management

Requirements

• 3 - 5 years proven experience in facility or equipment maintenance (hospitality industry preferred)
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Relevant technical certifications (an added advantage)
