About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Maintenance Manager. This role requires a multi-skilled professional capable of delivering both reactive and proactive maintenance services across all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide reactive and proactive maintenance services on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure
• Oversee installation, repair, and upkeep of all property, including machines, mechanical systems, buildings, heating, air-conditioning, and other structures
• Create and oversee planned maintenance schedules, ensuring adherence and timely completion of all work
• Develop and implement Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules to ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out
• Plan and integrate missed maintenance activities, leading the team to deliver effectively
• Schedule both internal and external work to maximize planned downtime and reduce unplanned downtime
• Manage team performance to ensure machine availability, reactively addressing dysfunctional machinery in collaboration with Shift management
• Optimize equipment according to standard procedures, enhancing performance and product quality
• Ensure achievement of all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Ensure routine calibration and maintenance of electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ensure designated buildings, plant, and facilities are fit for purpose and provide proactive support and solutions
• Develop accountability strategies for maintenance material spend and manage expenditure effectively
• Manage systems and equipment data storage with high standards of accuracy
• Manage the complete lifecycle of machinery and plant introduction, from specification development through supplier management to full installation in collaboration with relevant parties
• Manage the disposal process of obsolete machinery and equipment
• Increase operational effectiveness and project delivery through continuous improvement planning and implementation
• Establish and manage technical best practices, standard policies, and procedures across the maintenance team
