Maintenance Manager at United Geophysical (Nigeria) Limited

About the Role

United Geophysical (Nigeria) Limited is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance operations and ensure the reliability and efficiency of all equipment. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, resource management, and continuous improvement to support field operations across multiple project locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance programs for seismic, mechanical, and electrical equipment to ensure minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency
• Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities for vehicles, generators, compressors, drills, survey equipment, and other seismic field assets
• Plan and manage workshop operations, ensuring timely servicing, repair, and calibration of equipment
• Lead, train, and mentor maintenance teams (technicians, mechanics, electricians, welders, etc.) to maintain high technical standards and promote a culture of safety and accountability

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar leadership role, ideally within seismic or oil and gas operations
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Experience managing maintenance of vehicles, heavy-duty equipment, and field machinery
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse technical teams and manage operations across multiple field locations
• Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
