## Title: Maintenance Engineer (Expatriate) - PET Bottle Recycling

Job Summary

Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance and operational performance of a PET bottle recycling washing line. The ideal candidate will have solid technical knowledge in mechanical or electrical engineering, hands-on experience in recycling line operations, and strong troubleshooting abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control the full washing line process to ensure smooth operation
  • Achieve daily production targets and maintain high efficiency in the washing section
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on the recycling washing line
  • Troubleshoot and resolve quality issues in PET flakes washing operations
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring technical problems
  • Handle boiler operations (diesel-fuelled or gas-fuelled systems)
  • Carry out basic QC testing according to standard TDS specifications
  • Ensure product quality meets required specifications
  • Operate and maintain color sorters and polymer sorters
  • Support proper functioning and calibration of sorting equipment
  • Maintain raw material and finished goods stock levels
  • Ensure adherence to 5S workplace organization standards
  • Promote teamwork and demonstrate strong leadership qualities

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in PET bottle recycling line operations, specifically in the washing section
